Tells the seemingly random yet vitally connected story of a set of incidents that all converge one evening at 11:14pm. The story follows the chain of events of five different characters and five different storylines that all converge to tell the story of murder and deceit.

In Middletown, at 11:14 PM, two cars accidents happen at the same time, affecting the lives of five different groups of people. A drunken driver hits a man in a lonely road near a bridge; three young men hits a woman with a van, one of the passenger has a severed penis while another man on the road shoots them; a young man robs a convenience store, with the support of the clerk; a man finds a body in a cemetery and gets rid off it; and a young pregnant woman tries to raise money for an abortion. All of these characters and their fates are very connected.

Josh, a troubled sixteen-year-old runaway, is befriended and convinced by Jeff, a sincere fellow teen, to return home despite his overly abusive and depressed father. Jeff consults Josh to do the right thing and avenge his mother's death. Distraught by Jeff's persuasion to murder, Josh demands Jeff to leave his house and never come back, but even after he leaves, the cold feeling of Jeff's motive is now hunting Josh. Suddenly Josh has a flashback of when his father drove his mother to suicide. He tries to force all thoughts of revenge out of his mind, but a demon is now whispering into his ear, "get that gun." Josh's father soon comes home from work and Josh is now sitting in the kitchen by himself holding a nine millimeter pistol.
